Awesome pattern and tutorial. Helmet was for my son but now I want to make a whole suite. I had it posted on my social media page but I deleted all that garbage. Keep up the good work

This pattern was great and I highly suggest it! Very easy to cut out an put together. I made my helmet out of metal. A little harder to work with than leather but definitely a fun project.

I really enjoyed making this piece. It fits my head well and the youtube tutorial was very helpful. I would love to see a video on how to line pieces like this helmet with a more comfortable material or padding. Also I used the fiebings antique finish followed by the tuff kote finish, which caused the drip lines on my piece, but I kind of like the more scaly look of them.

A great pattern and complementary video made this a snap to build. I can’t wait to make more parts of this set of armor.

This pattern was incredible to work with. It may SEEM daunting at first, but the video and the pattern make it very simple to follow. I had a blast making these and I will be moving on to the other pieces in the set for sure!

Newbie here. This was my first major leather project. The pattern was great and easy to use. Paired with the awesome video I was able to create a very nice helmet. Can’t wait to complete the other pieces in the set.

This was my first time working with real leather. It was so easy to follow and though I didn’t have the right tools still really happy how it turned out. Can’t wait to make another.

I have enjoyed the tutorials as I have been working in leather for several years but am completely self taught so its nice to see how others work.

I loved this pattern, it was a lot easier than I thought and since I’ve had the pattern for over a year I’m kicking myself for not trying it sooner. I used 5/6oz leather for mine, and I used Angelus airbrush paints for both of the colors. The last thing I changed was I used buttons for all 4 locations on the face shield as it still allows you to flip it up and down, or even remove it entirely.

The suggestion I would have to new makers that want to try it, is the helmet may fit rather snug, so plan accordingly.

Excellent pattern, I have only made small changes to adapt it to my measurements and to have a personalized look

The pattern came out awesome! I modded the face plate as well as the ridge above it to resemble the Vegas Golden Knights helmet, so that I can wear it to games!

Had a few dying issues but over all it went well. Only comment about the video is the how to shape each piece would be helpful. Thank you

This pattern is the perfect project for starting out. It is very simple to use and very cool. This is the second helmet I created since our ren fair does not allow covered faces due to thefts and so I had to get created. I recommend this pattern to everyone who is starting the craft. Thank you!

This pattern was perfect for starting out. This is the second one I created and I had to make it open faced since our ren fair does not allow covered faces due to thefts. I chose to get creative with the design and it is a super easy and stylish pattern.

Fantastic pattern! Mine came out not so great due to my own fault. I sealed the leather and forgot to wet form anything so the shape wasn’t perfect. I also wanted to add black trim to the edges but again sealed it. Hey I’m still learning ok. The patter. Is great though. I’d suggest Printing out a few copies for the piece that requires you to make multiples.

Enjoyed making this helmet, our first Prince Armory project although we have been leather crafting for several years. However, through this project we have continued to learn and grow. Excellent YouTube tutorial. Thanks for sharing your patterns and skills.
